How to Measure Your Bracelet Size
Getting the right bracelet size can be tricky. How do you know which size will fit you best? This quick guide gives you a few simple methods to measure your wrist and choose the perfect fit.
If you already know your wrist size, add about 2.5 cm (1 inch) to your wrist measurement when ordering, for a comfortable fit. Once clasped, most bracelets sit a little shorter in circumference than their total length, because of the clasp overlap and the thickness of the chain.
Measure Your Wrist
- Use a soft measuring tape. If you don't have one, a strip of paper, string, or ribbon works just as well.
- Wrap it around your wrist, right where you'd normally wear the bracelet.
- Note the length on the tape, or mark the paper, string, or ribbon and measure it against a ruler.
- That measurement is your wrist size. For a comfortable fit, add about 2.5 cm (1 inch) before ordering.
Use a Bracelet You Already Own
If you have a bracelet that fits you well, or can borrow one from a friend or family member, simply measure its full length end to end. If it sits slightly too tight or too loose, adjust the length up or down to find your ideal size.
